"I've suffered severe beatings from my ex-husband, starvation and my kids being neglected. I was five months pregnant, rejected, battered and had no will to live and thought of taking my life and the kids. I woke my kids and took some pills. I told the kids to close their eyes so we could pray together before going to our Heavenly Father. I had switched on the T.V. set and that's when we heard your preaching. Your sermon hit me very hard ... it was like you're just in the living room and knew what I was about to do. You were saying that 'there's someone who is about to commit suicide, that you were about to take an overdose.' You asked the listeners to kneel down and pray after you. I tried to ignore you but my eleven year old boy told me to listen to your sermon. So we knelt down and prayed after you. After that prayer, I felt I had the will to live again. I went to a nearby deliverance church and I told them my testimony."
